The Crown is a picturesque pub in the centre of Rhayader, a busy Mid Wales town close to the Elan Valley.

With a classic beamed interior it is crammed with local memorabilia and offers a comfortable traditional welcome. It has an open plan bar and a 25 cover restaurant which is no smoking. At the rear of the building there is a relaxing walled garden terrace with seating for an additional 30 covers.

Families are welcome in all areas of the Crown, well behaved dogs may be taken in the Garden Terrace.

A range of Brains traditional ales are available as well as the usual lagers, smooth beers and cider. Wines are available by the glass or the bottle from the wine list. The usual soft drinks are also on offer. The Crown is listed in the Good Beer Guide.

The Menu is good quality Pub Fare, homecooked with the addition of many Daily Specials, Snacks, the usual Grills and Fresh Fish is sometimes available. Prices represent good value for money.

Bed & Breakfast is offered in three twin ensuite bedrooms, limited on site parking is available for these guests.
